Labels for difficult surfaces and critical applications
Hüsch GmbH - Print Technology offers various label materials, films and adhesive systems for bonding to difficult surfaces that are exposed to exceptional stress.
We talk about surface energies, which we differentiate into high surface energy or low surface energy (low energy substrates, high energy substrates).
In addition to surface energy, other factors are crucial:

Bonding on curves, corners and edges or oil-crosslinked surfaces

Bonding on rough, rusty, damp, dirty and oily surfaces with high and quick initial adhesion

Wooden pallets require adhesive systems with strong initial adhesion that must ensure long-term UV and weather resistance.
Moisture-resistant adhesive systems for marking drums in the chemical industry (IBC, steel drums), pipelines require a very high initial adhesion.
Compliance with standards such as BS 5609
Temperature resistance up to 300 degrees Celsius and up to 900 degrees Celsius.
